Wine Website Design Awards

Are more wineries and wine companies investing in cool website designs?

Good Grape has been the winner of 2 American Wine Blog Awards for best graphics.  When I see a wine/winery website/blog get noticed for having a cool design I get excited…enough to blog about it here.  There is a wine blog I like to read about wine packaging, design, and marketing called Serious About Wine, but it hasn’t mentioned a couple of wine websites that have received accolades among website designers.

I was surprised to see a wine app website mentioned in a css design roundup a little over a month ago.

While reading The Smashing Book I saw Black Estate Vineyard mentioned (p. 238) for its nomination in the BeST Awards.

Maybe wineries will invest more in wine websites in 2010 than in the past.  Vintank offers web services, eWinerySolutions has lots of partners, and new companies are starting to get in on the action.

Vin 65 and The Winery Web Site Report blog about wine web design too.

Do you have a favorite wine web design blog?

!!! Four pages later in The Smashing Book WLTV gets a spread (p. 242).  AND, WLTV was mentioned in The New Community Rules: Marketing on the Social Web, which I credited at the end of my previous post.  Gary Vaynerchuk is everywhere!

Sante!

I saw some French bloggers on http://tv.winelibrary.com/2009/12/17/on-location-in-paris-tasting-with-a-grand-crew-part-i-episode-788/, but their websites were not as nice as yours.

Thanks for the link love, Dr. H.

The best design, of course, is one that sells more of your wine.

Smashing Magazine also did

I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the SSU redesign of Moshin Vineyards.

Tchin’ Tchin’ !

Thanks for your nice comment Dr Horowitz on my website.

As soon as We will be able to make available our upcoming iPhones’s application, I will send it to you. And if you enjoy playing with it, maybe you could help us to make it known.

Our goal is to create a “kind of” dynamic review of bottles of Champagne you expect to buy. You will be help by our Sommelier (Wine Waiter) with a nice application which will bring video for better explanation (better than a text to display, we expect to create something much better than a WikiChampagne !)

Best regards from France (and sorry for my lack in english)
