Alan Baker brought his radio production skills to wine country from Minnesota.  Instead of going to UCD to become a winemaker he became a cellar rat, started blogging at CellarRat.org, got a job at Crushpad and spearheaded CrushNet (some of the best winemaking video resources, EVER), moved to Healdsburg, has made great Pinot and Syrah, and continues to podcast and do social media work for Arista Winery (and probably others).

Thanks @CellarRat for the great tasting.  It was great to hear your story and to get to try 2009 Pinot for the first time!
