Addtional resources to help you get started with twitter

Last class I offered the following resource as a starting point for designing a twitter background:

In class today students started to customize their twitter backgrounds by googling “free twitter backgrounds”, and sites like this came up:

This site is a neat site, but it does not give you the photoshop .psd files you should use when customizing a twitter background.  The pro’s search for image files they like and then use photoshop to edit, add layers, and customize these images.  Sites like twitterbackgrounds.com doesn’t give you as much control over your twitter background as photohshop does.

When you search for twitter backgrounds add the “photoshop” term to your google search.  Here are some good sites with .psd files:
